Graffiti is vandalism, it scars the community, hurts property values and diminishes our quality of life. Ouch. Not my words, rather, this is a direct quote from our city’s Graffiti Blasters web page. Last week our yellow-brick building was tagged. I’m like the old grouchy lady who mutters under her breath. You know the kind. And the only thing you can make of it is, “those crazy kids.”
I can’t help but get the Ghostbusters theme song stuck in my head when I hear the phrase Graffiti Blasters. I can’t even say it out loud; it seems so silly. It’s just too bad our problem is minor compared to the big marshmallow man. I loved that guy. (Anyone?). On a side note, whoever can read it, wins.
