Oh, Sweet Friday (and Holy Renegade, Folks)

The laundry’s done, the bags have been unpacked, and the house has been sufficiently vacuumed and dusted. And since the ol’ honey-do list has been properly tackled, we’re able to spend the whole weekend (and the next weekend and the one after that) preparing for the upcoming Renegade Craft Fair. Whoot!

Some of you may remember when we announced on Facebook that our Pet Shop (a tiny division of this here Yellow Brick Home) was accepted as a vendor in the annual fair. We whooped, hollered, and celebrated (and as fans of the fest, rightfully so), and then promptly went on vacation.

Now that we’re settled back into our cozy dinner nights and morning dog walks, we’ve also found a new routine: painting. Painting like there’s no tomorrow. Pulling all nighters like the good times and actually enjoying it in my no-longer-college-age. And to honor the upcoming fair, we’re happy to boast their name on our sidebar.

We ask that you please excuse us in the coming weeks as we may be elbow deep in pink and blue paints, scheming booth layouts, and scouring the craft stores for all things puppy (all while we’re oogling over French Bulldogs and tiny Chihuahuas from the painting table).
