Okay guys, as I sit here under all this (wonderful, glorious!) demolition dust, I’m here with a quick and friendly update on all things Pet + Print Shop! With less than 3 weeks until Christmas, these are the dates that you’ll need to know to make sure those gifts make it under the tree by December 25th. (Whether it’s for a friend or you, well, that’s between us.)
THE PET SHOP. After announcing the remaining allotment of custom pet paintings and 2016 plans to update our current pricing structure, we sold out fast – thank you! (Above, Lulu shows off our pet prints.) Here’s where we stand:
- Gift certificates are always available for purchase, and they’re a great way to allow the recipient to work with us one-on-one on a super custom, super adorable mini pet painting. To ensure you have it in your hands by Christmas Eve, orders must be placed by Friday, December 18th. Get started here!
- If you’re looking to treat yourself, a 2016 Pre-Order will lock you into our current rate! We’ve already had an amazingly overwhelming response (seriously, thank you!), so we will only be accepting 5 additional orders – starting now. *Update: We’ve sold out of pre-orders for the year! Your support this year has been incredibly heartwarming – and it’s official that we reached the 1,000 pet painting landmark, too!
THE PRINT SHOP. All of our fine art giclées are made to order, and they’re printed on thick velvet paper for the most saturated colors. To guarantee Christmas delivery, orders must be placed by Friday, December 11th. Head on over to see the entire Print Shop collection!

I don’t quite understand what the difference is between a gift certificate and a 2016 pre-order… Because I guess certificate would also be for reimbursement in 2016. Are you not restricting them? Space I really want to get a gift certificate for a family member but won’t be able to order until tonight.
Hi Ren – great question. The 2016 pre-order is a treat for yourself, and it’s a way to lock in our current pricing before we restructure our rates next year. If you’re looking to give a gift for the holidays for someone else, I’d suggest a gift certificate! The recipient can redeem the certificate when they’re ready to start the process, but you’ll have a physical item to give them in time for Christmas.
Gift certificates are always available year round, but the amount of pre-orders I received was very high, so I’ll be limiting them this year. (Only 1 more slot left before we sell out!)
