Happy Howl-o-ween

Like most folks, Halloween is a top holiday around this home (maybe more so for me; challenge me to a costume contest and it is on). This year, we thought it was Jack’s turn to gussy up and paint the proverbial town red. (You may remember the aviator jacket he scored at this year’s yard sale.) Here he is, happy as a scarf-wrapped clam, dressed in his finest Red Baron attire.

As you can see, the little scrapper’s mood took a bit of a turn for the worse once the sunglasses were added. He may have been a bit embarrassed, considering his puppy friends were off chasing frisbees. Ugh, parents just don’t understand.

So what are your Halloween plans looking like this year? Got your costume meticulously planned already like ol’ Jackson McDogg here, or will you be scraping together thrift store garb at the last minute? While our flying pup may not be able to join in on the friendly night time festivities, if years past are any indication, we’re in for a good time! Happy Howl, er…Halloween!

What a bad ass! He secretly loves it.

My costume is going to be assembled – totally last minute-stylie – from some combination of our available household goods: painters’ tape, poly sheets, spackle… um…. primer?ReplyCancel

What a handsome guy! We only have football jerseys for our boy pups and a tutu for the girl, so we’ll probably put them in those. At least for as long as they’ll tolerate them!ReplyCancel
