Giveaway: Kalliart

This giveaway is no longer accepting entries. Thank you to all who participated!

It’s been a good, productive week, and we’re feeling pretty good about the weekend ahead – so let’s take a break and derail from the usual home chatter. Today, I’m excited to give away some loot from Kalliart, owned and operated by my best bud, Kalli (you might remember her thoughtful map corkboard gift to us or her colorful closet right here). Based out of her home studio in Los Angeles, Kalli creates beautiful hand crafted accessories, satisfying her addiction to all things sparkly. Lucky us!

Here are just a few of my favorites, clockwise from top left: Don’t Mess with Texans necklace, Mermaid Tail earrings, and Feather bobbies.

And while those baubles are fun for every day, she also specializes in curated (by you) gift-wrapped bridal packages. With 170+ wedding contributions under her belt, what better way to thank your bridesmaids than with custom jewelry to polish off their looks? (On a side note, my handyman popped the question four years ago this weekend. Love him.)

But let’s talk about what’s in it for you. We’ve teamed up with Kalli to treat one lucky reader to their choice of the following items from Kalliart, clockwise from top left: Lemon Colorblock necklace, Starcrossed necklace, or $40 towards your wedding gift package (see details, below).

The details:

  • Up for grabs: One lucky winner will receive their choice of a Lemon Colorblock necklace, Starcrossed necklace, or $40 towards any $100 custom bridal jewelry order; can be for bride or bridesmaids and can be any combination of earrings, necklace, bracelets, etc. featured in Kalliart. (Wedding must be no earlier than March due to time constraints.)
  • To enter: Simply comment on this post with your jewelry of choice and let us know, what’s your go to piece of sparkle? Is it your favorite chandelier earrings? Your over sized gold watch? Or is your wedding ring all you need?
  • For additional entries: Share this giveaway on Facebook or Twitter, then come back and leave a comment letting us know. (One additional comment for each method – up to 2 extra entries!)
  • Giveaway ends: Tuesday, February 7th, 6pm EST
  • Shipping restrictions: Anywhere in the world

Bonus: Use promo code YBHfreeship while shopping Kalliart and get free shipping through February 14th! The lucky dog winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Wednesday, February 8th. Good luck and happy entering!

I l-o-v-e the lemon colorblock necklace…Your friend is very talented! I’m going to go the cheesy-but-honest route and say that my favorite go-to piece of sparkle is my engagement ring =) Only 85 days to go until Wedding day!!! EEPReplyCancel

  • Lisa2.3.12 - 9:15 AM

I love the starcrossed necklace. So pretty – and it would go with everything.ReplyCancel

  • Carrie @DreamGreenDIY2.3.12 - 9:19 AM

  • Kelli2.3.12 - 9:22 AM

I love the starcrossed necklace – I would pair it with my simple leather and silver watch I wear all the time!ReplyCancel

  • Katie2.3.12 - 9:24 AM

I have a pair of earrings from satya – dangly silver and amethyst beauties that I wear probably 3 times a week – they make me feel sexy. :)ReplyCancel

  • Thank you for sharing! The second I saw those mermaid tail earrings I had to buy them, so I did. :) They’re just gorgeous – and I’m seriously picky about jewelry!

I’m loving a ton of her stuff, and need to put it on the short list of bridesmaid jewelry options. I’m going to ask if I could order the mermaid earrings for all my bridesmaids, but in a different color.

This is one giveaway I’d love to win!!

I was so excited about the mermaid earrings I forgot to answer the question. My favorite jewelry is the vintage diamond ring Ryan gave me when he proposed. Hands down.ReplyCancel

  • Beth2.3.12 - 9:41 AM

My favorite jewelry is a pair of purple vintage earrings, but that gorgeous colorblock necklace could become a new fave :)!ReplyCancel

  • Jennifer2.3.12 - 9:48 AM

I love the lemon necklace! My favorite/feel naked without it piece of jewelry are my wedding and engagement rings.ReplyCancel

  • Anne2.3.12 - 9:48 AM

I love the drop earrings – they’re wonderful! I also really think the yellow necklace is fantastic – I need more color in my jewelry.

My favorite item is my wedding band – platinum on the outside, rose gold on the inside.ReplyCancel

  • Liz2.3.12 - 9:55 AM

OK, that Lemon necklace is TO DIE FOR! I love it, and may just buy it for myself if I don’t win it!!

My go-to sparkle is a fabulous modern silver bangle. I wear it all the time.ReplyCancel

  • katie r2.3.12 - 9:58 AM

I can’t decide, I LOVE THEM BOTH! Beautiful stuff! The mermaid tails are gorgeous too! I usually have earrings now that i have short hair, and sometimes necklaces but not usually both. My standard staple is my rings :) The star necklaces I LOVE but seems safe and me. The colorblock necklace is not like anything i own, which seems risky/exciting/and interesting :)ReplyCancel

  • Libby2.3.12 - 10:03 AM

Both necklaces are stunners! My go-to accessory is a large silver, initialed ring that I happened upon at a flea market…just happened to be my initial!ReplyCancel

Lemon Colorblock necklace is so pretty!ReplyCancel

I love the lemon colorblock necklace and the cute hair accessories. My favorite jewelry to wear is one of my favorite necklaces and my wedding rings.ReplyCancel

  • Jen N.2.3.12 - 10:55 AM

I absolutely love the deep blue sea necklace. Gorgeous! My go-to sparkle is a gold cocktail ring that just has a giant crystal in the middle. It goes with everything.ReplyCancel

  • Nicole2.3.12 - 11:14 AM

I love both necklaces, but since I’m seriously lacking yellow, I’d have to choose the colorblock necklace if I won.

My go-to piece of jewelry is definitely my wedding rings. Besides them, it would have to be my white gold diamond studs that look like hurricane symbols that were a gift from my parents when I graduated with my Master’s.ReplyCancel

  • Alexis2.3.12 - 11:14 AM

Her work is beautiful, I love that color block necklace. My go to sparkle are a small pair of diamond studs my grandma gave me on my 21st birthday; I wear them everyday and they go with everything :)ReplyCancel

  • Leslie2.3.12 - 11:19 AM

Of course I love my engagement ring. (My wedding ring had to be cut off after an insect bite.) But aside from my engagement ring, I love my bird nest necklace. My brother is a very sweet and creative guy. He wrapped gold colored wire around three pearly beads making a beautiful bird nest and put it on a chain for me. I LOVE it.ReplyCancel

  • Katharine2.3.12 - 11:23 AM

I love them both, but especially the lemon colorblock necklace. I always wear my wedding band and engagement ring, which is a little more unique than the regular diamond. It’s a topaz that was in a pair of earrings given to K.’s grandma by his grandpa. :)ReplyCancel

  • Jane @ The Borrowed Abode2.3.12 - 11:24 AM

    I just tweeted! @borrowedabodeReplyCancel

  • Maria2.3.12 - 11:47 AM

Lovely shop and items, but colorblock necklace FTW! I’m almost ashamed to admit, but I don’t really wear too much sparkle. I suppose the sparkliest thing I own is my wedding ring. :)ReplyCancel

  • kelly2.3.12 - 12:11 PM

I LOVE the lemon colorblock necklace. Her jewelry is so creative & gorgeous!ReplyCancel

  • Caitlin2.3.12 - 12:14 PM

I love that star necklace! It’s so delicate and would look great layered with my collection of vintage beads. My favorite piece is my Great Grandmother’s ring with 5 different stones in it representing her 5 grandchildren aka my aunts and uncles. It’s such an unusual pice with a pearl, diamond, blue topaz, ruby, and a sapphire. I wear different jewelry everyday but it’s the one constant.ReplyCancel

  • Megan E.2.3.12 - 12:27 PM

I love that lemon color-block necklace! My go-to sparkle item are some cubic zirconium stud earrings.ReplyCancel

That colorblock necklace is so pretty!! My go-to is my simple silver hoops!ReplyCancel

  • Elise2.3.12 - 2:50 PM

So hard to say… I spent MONTHS looking for my silver / rose gold watch and I wear it every day, but it’s close competition with a cheap interlocking silver ring I got at the Saturday market in Portland and a brass chain necklace with a big gold ring that I got from Riley in Wicker Park – made by a Chicago artist that I’m totally blanking on now.ReplyCancel

  • Amy Lynn2.3.12 - 2:52 PM

    LOVE the Lemon colorblock necklace!

I go in spurts when it comes to jewelry …. sometimes I’m into earrings, sometimes bracelets and sometimes necklaces and most days I don’t wear anything except my wedding ring! :)ReplyCancel

  • Joy2.3.12 - 3:16 PM

I love the Tiered Teardrop necklace! I’d say my go-to piece would be the first pair of colorful earrings I can grab on my way out, along with my elephant pendant (or “elependant” as my boyfriend refers to it).

    Cool giveaway, guys!ReplyCancel

  • Erin2.3.12 - 3:40 PM

My go to jewels are my wedding ring and just ball stud earrings.

    Thanks!!!ReplyCancel

My wedding rings are the only jewelry I wear consistently. That lemon colorblock necklace is pretty awesome though.ReplyCancel

  • jenn aka the picky girl2.3.12 - 4:13 PM

The color block necklace is fantastic!

My go-to piece is an antique Navajo-crafted turquoise ring I got at the Houston Antique Fair years ago. It’s big and imperfect, and I love it more than just about any other piece of jewelry I own. It’s a statement piece, for sure, and I get comments on it all the time.ReplyCancel

  • I used to rarely take off this little, simple owl-pendant necklace – it goes with everything! But for the past six weeks, I just can’t seem to take my eyes off this shiny, new engagement ring… :)ReplyCancel

  • K.C.2.3.12 - 5:01 PM

LOVE the Lemon Colorblock necklace! Reminds me of my favorite go to necklace – a long bronze chain with a yellow bird, gold shamrock, and “M” initial. Juat a little crazy and a little color, the perfect combination!ReplyCancel

  • Amy Lynn2.3.12 - 5:22 PM

LOVE the Lemon Colorblock necklace! I am very spurty when it comes to my jewels …. sometimes I’m into necklace, sometimes earrings and sometimes bracelets. Most days the only piece I wear is my wedding/engagement ring! :)ReplyCancel

The lemon necklace just made my little heart flutter — so beautiful!
My go-to piece is a custom cuff bracelet that a local Austin jewelry maker made for me for my wedding — it’s thin, hammered gold-plated metal with a kind of honeycomb hole design throughout. It’s awesome, and I don’t know if I could live without it!ReplyCancel

I love the ColorBlock necklace! I’m not a big jewelry girl, so my go-to jewelry is definitely my wedding set, but I also love the pearl necklace my hubby gave me as a Mommy Gift after the birth of our oldest! : )ReplyCancel

  • edrambo2.4.12 - 9:29 PM

    Starcrossed please!

I’m loving the lemon color block necklace. Besides my engagement/wedding rings which I absolutely love, I am currently into a neckace that a woman in my town made of silver that she presses into a shell. She attaches beads (mine are orange) and puts the pendant onto a chain.

I’ve gotten tons of compliments and all the profits go to buy defibrulators in the surrounding communities.ReplyCancel

    I love the Star-Crossed Necklace!

My go-to jewelry is a pair of earrings I received as a Christmas present from my aunt 5 years ago. Unless I’m wearing earrings to specifically match an outfit, these small white gold/diamond hoops are in my ears at all times.

Just about a month ago, I thought I had lost one and was SO upset. I searched high and low, and then realized I was about to be late to work. I walked outside my apartment and found the earring on the sidewalk. The weirdest part? I KNOW I had them in the night before inside the apartment because I zoomed in to check a picture I had taken the night before. And I hadn’t left the apartment since!ReplyCancel

  • Tina W.2.7.12 - 10:06 AM

My favorite is an spiny oyster shell ring from Santa Fe that never fails to net me several compliments whenever I wear it.ReplyCancel

  • Ruth2.7.12 - 10:23 AM

That star necklace is very pretty! Would fit into my wardrobe so well :)

I nearly always wear my blue and silver Ortak earrings that my boyfriend bought me at Christmas 2009. I love them so much and almost cried when I lost one in the gym! Thankfully my instructor found in on the changing room floor and now I have them back :) They are my ultimate go-to jewellery piece!

Thank you for organising the giveaway for us!
