54 Projects You Can Tackle Right Now

I’m pulling 54(!) DIY projects from the vault and sharing them here with you today. Ranging from beginner to intermediate, there’s a project for every home lover in this list. Happy creating!

I’ve been asking this a lot, but still, I’ll ask again: How are you? We’ve seen a strong surge of community and virtual togetherness (an oxymoron, you would think!), and it’s helped to uplift our spirits during a time when it’s so easy to feel lost. Instead of sharing new content today, we wanted to round up 54(!) past projects that we’ve loved, in the hopes you may find inspiration. In the hopes that you’ll find a use for that big stack of wood scraps in your garage, the paint cans piled up in the corner. In the hopes that you’ll find a welcome distraction, a creative outlet that fills you with happiness.

To view any of the projects below, hover over the image for the topic and just click on the thumbnail! And if the inspiration strikes, we’d love to see your creations! Tag @yellowbrickhome and #YBHDIY on Instagram so we can share the love, too.

I’m using my PTO time (an entire week when we were supposed to be road tripping to the Grand Canyon) to instead clean out the garage. It’s been 12 years since we’ve tackled it and I am feeling so overwhelmed, even knowing I have a full week to clean and organize it all. I love looking at all the pretty, nicely organized garage pics, but it’s the hard work to get there that is so intimidating. ReplyCancel

Cleaning my garage out today as well.  When done, you will feel so accomplished.  I try and do my garage every spring and fall.  It’s always the best feeling when putting the last thing away.  Good luck!ReplyCancel

  • […] We’re thinking a lot about how best to use our time at home (especially since we can’t advance much in the master bathroom until we can get a plumber in our house…) and so I’m loving this long long list of DIY inspiration! […]ReplyCancel
