Giveaway: Neu Year

This giveaway is no longer accepting entries. Thanks to all who participated!

Yesterday, we shared our mammoth frame – a frame built for the sole purpose of displaying our Neu Year calendar. Because, you guys, this calendar is awesome. (Yeah, we said that 5 times yesterday, too!) So to kick off this year with a bang, we’ve teamed with Jesse and James of Neu Year to punch 2013 in the throat!

Here’s the deal. (And it’s such a deal, that we’re going to break this thing down.)

  • It’s big. Like, 27″x39″ big. But it’s also designed beautifully – so much so, we framed it (broken record, yeah, yeah) – and you can see the whole year at once. No flipping through pages or clicking your mouse; it’s all there. The whole year.
  • Better yet, there are no gaps between months. Nope, the days flow from one to the next; there’s no jumping to the next screen or (again!) flipping the page, making the year flow better.
  • The weeks start with Monday. Monday! (You know, for visual clarity.) Neu Year focuses on 52 weeks, not 12 months.
  • You saw that we chose to frame ours vertically, but it’s 2-sided with the option to hang yours horizontally.

Simply put, this calendar just makes sense. It’s like the Swiss Army Knife of calendars (right, Scott?). The organizational nut in me loves it – and really, how many people do you know bring up “calendar talk” over brunch with their friends? Because we do. Yup, we honest to goodness are so smitten with this calendar, that we discuss it over eggs.

But let’s talk about what’s in it for you. We’ve teamed up with Jesse and James to give 3 lucky readers the Neu Year calendar of their choice! Choose between the 2013 Uncoated or 2013 Dry Erase (ooh, see? We won’t even make you build your own frame to write/wipe your deadlines!).

  • Up for grabs: Neu Year calendar of winner’s choice; 3 winners!
  • To enter: Simply comment on this post and let us know, how do you plan to punch 2013 in the throat?
  • For additional entries: Share this giveaway on Facebook or Twitter, then come back and leave a comment letting us know. (One additional comment for each method – up to 2 extra entries!)
  • Giveaway ends: Tuesday, January 8th, at 5pm CST
  • Shipping restrictions: None. Neu Year will ship anywhere in the world!
  • And just because: YBH readers get 30% off all orders through January 31st using the code YellowBrickHome.

The lucky dog winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Wednesday, January 9th. Good luck and happy entering!
