Sweet Friday

Oh boy, it has been a crazy week. A good one, but nuts too. Scott and I are both mentally and physically drained, and while we have a whole queue of DIYs to do (and a few we’ve finished but’ve yet to find the light of day to photograph), there hasn’t been too much action – of that kind – around this home.

The photo above was too cute not to share; during a recent shoot (taken by our close friend, Renee, in an effort to get some recent snaps of our mini family), our handsome Jack spent a moment to watch the world. It seemed appropriate for this Friday – we’re looking forward while taking it all in. And in our case, one step at a time.

The next few days won’t be any slower than this past week, but it’ll be happy and full of celebration, cake and live music – it’s Scott’s birthday tomorrow, after all! Even with the crickets keeping our virtual home nice and warm, we did want to pop in and say hallelujah, it’s Friday!, and wish you all a happy weekend, too! xo.
