Hi Shelby, thank you! Yes, I was just using regular chalk, but I've been told that chalk markers would be really helpful for perfect lines:

Personally, we love the look of a smudgey board, so we're fine (for now) using regular chalk. As for tips... patience! I also used a ruler to make light, straight lines, and I erased them once I had the recipe written out. Hope that helps!

I'm in love with your chalk writing skills. This might be a silly question but what kind of chalk do you use? Just regular stick chalk? I feel like I can never get my lines clean like you do! Any tips you can share?

The rosemary lemon drink sounds fab. I've done variations on that and in my book, any drink with herbs is awesome :) Also, your cursive letters look great!

Oh, I think I pinned a drink like that from Cup of Jo. Love simple syrup infusions. I guess if you overdid it on the alcohol but had some left, you could add rosemary syrup to lemon juice and ice water for a fancy lemonade. Ginger syrup is nice to have around too, it's great for tea when you feel a bit ill or added to pineapple juice.

Hey Kalli, the recipe was a mish-mash from a few different recipes. It's basically just a gin fizz with rosemary simple syrup instead of regular simple syrup. It was TOO good, hence the ill feeling I had by the end of the evening!
