Yearly Archives: 2010 Ah, happy Friday, all! With Windy City temperatures below zero all week (making for freezing toes, cheeks, and seemingly extra-long bus waits), we’re thinking we could take a queue from Miss Maddie. May everyone stay warm this weekend, and drink a cup of hot chocolate for us, will you?  … a 50 lb pup on a tiny, 10 lb ottoman. (Dang, how does he make himself look so small?) If our boy hadn’t licked the couch clean and eaten his Molly Mutt, perhaps he wouldn’t be in this situation. But since he’s settled on his latest sleeping niche, he does actually seem quite happy….  When we honeymooned two Novembers ago, the wife and I made an iron-clad pact to spend each subsequent anniversary away from home. We’re not big souvenir collectors around here, but when we spent our first year celebrating in Nashville, we found the ultimate memento in this Christmas ornament. It seemed we were on to something….  It’s been a good month since Scott and I fled the city for the California coast, but I’d yet to share the DIY gift I “stitched” up to celebrate our 2 wedded years together (not to mention that I’m clearly behind on sharing the photos). They say that year numero dos is the gift of…  Holy moly, folks. Renegade was an absolute blast and we’re still over the moon that they included little ol’ us. While we’d love to divulge every teeny last detail, we know pictures say it best.
