This past Friday afternoon, I came home from work exhausted, tired, and I’ll be the first to admit that I was downright cranky. I was in one heck of a mood (obviously not a good one), so imagine my surprise when I opened our front door and found this waiting for me:

The super sweet hubs set out a fresh crop of tulips to make me smile and remind me that the weekend was officially here. I can’t get over how pretty the pink pops against the grassy green. Love it. And it’s not even Valentine’s Day anymore. How ’bout that?

Jillian, that dish was a gift from our neighbors. After watching their cats for a long weekend, we were super surprised to see that they scored the awesome fleur de lis dish at a thirft store – and then gifted it to US. Whoa. We love it, and it’s the perfect catch-all for Scott when he needs a place for his keys and wallet after a day at work.
