Mindful Metropolis: Small Ambitions

When Mindful Metropolis, a Chicago based glossy focusing on conscious living concepts, contacted us a few weeks ago, we eagerly invited the super friendly Christine (founder of Green Parent Chicago) over for coffee and an in-person house tour. That night, we celebrated the unexpected house call and crossed our fingers that they would find us worthy of their pages. Fast forward three weeks, and we were beyond thrilled to see one of our very own makeovers on the cover. (You can find the complete lowdown on that project here, and Miss Renee, this one’s for you). In the words of my grandma, holy mackerel.

If you’re in the Chicago area, there are several places to pick up this super fresh magazine in print (hint: it’s available at any Chicagoland Whole Foods), or you can peruse their site to find the whole edition on the web. And for those of you reading this post (thank you!), you can simply click on the images to catch the press. Oh, and did I mention the printed copies are free? Can’t get any easier than that.

A big, sloppy smooch goes out to Mindful Metropolis for the feature. We’re tickled pink and can’t keep the grins off our faces. Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to snag an extra copy for Mom and Dad. Whoa.

Awesome you guys! I really like all your tips. I swear everyone is always saying to do white in small spaces, but you guys break that rule and make it look fabulous. Oh and that’s quite an interesting article on page 10 :-)ReplyCancel

    Jillian,

You’re RIGHT. They totally flipped our room around. Kind of messes with the brain, but I guess it worked better for their layout!

Also, I was super happy to see my little Maddie make it to the spread. My angel!ReplyCancel

Thank you! for inspiring folk how to live just a little bit smaller, just a little bit more friendly to our planet. For me, this is what Mindful Metropolis is all about – highlighting regular folk doing small things, to make differences, for themselves and for the planet. We were thrilled to highlight your efforts and your ideas.
